What is the best "teach yourself guitar book"?

I know a little guitar but i'd like to learn more.

H.O.T. guitar book. We use it in my guitar class and it i proven method they've used at the school for 30 years. I used it and within a month I was playing hendrix tunes.

    Guitars for Dummies helped me tighten up my sound. I taught myself but THAT particular book helped me out a lot!

    Id say get a teacher and learn a little before using the books, idk I started playing guitar for a year with a teacher then started to play the bass all on my own with tips I had learned.
